Bar, Lounge and Restaurant The Old Ginn House Inn

The main bar is the Ginn Room after which the Inn has been named. This is where, in bygone times, horses walked around turning the grindstone to crush the crops, known as 'ginning'.

Cumbrian Real Ale is now available - Coniston Brewing Co Blue Bird.

There is a cosy lounge with television, books and magazines - a great place to relax and unwind after a busy day.

The main dining areas exude a warm glow, and meals served include a hearty English or Continental breakfast.

At lunchtime and in the evening there's an extensive menu and specials board that includes traditional home-cooked fare as well as more varied cosmopolitan dishes and a wide range of desserts.

Our traditional Sunday Lunch is very popular.

Children are most welcome and we have a large Children's menu.

Our enthusiastic chefs are prepared to cater for any special request if given 24 hours notice.
